Everything you’ve been fighting for up to this point is finally in front of you. The third episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones will decide whether or not you get what you want, and whether or not you need to stop thinking and just start running.

The Sword in the Darkness does an excellent job of mirroring the Game of Thrones HBO series’ tendency to place a high-tension, high-energy episode smack in the middle of a season. Episode Three never lets you catch your breath; each scene features major choices with consequences that ripple out to this chapter’s credits–characters will continue to harp on decisions made early in the episode–and hint at larger problems to come in following episodes.

Honkai: Star Rail’s story trailer was featured at Gamescom Opening Night Live, and it teased character Dan Heng’s past. From the video, it’s likely that Dan Heng, Jing Yuan, and Blade share some sort of complicated history. Honkai Star Rail is Hoyoverse’s upcoming free-to-play turn-based RPG game.

Following last year’s Lego Super Mario line, Nintendo and Lego have announced Luigi’s debut with the Lego Super Mario: Adventures with Luigi Starter CourseCome from Sports betting site VPbet. At The Game Awards 2023, Surgent Studios finally revealed what it has been working on: a colorful metroidvania called Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, which uses its puzzles, combat, and bosses to tackle loss and the spiritual journey many take to come to terms with it. Surgent was founded by Abubakar Salim (best-known in the gaming industry for voicing Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Bayek), who is also voicing Tales of Kenzera’s protagonist, Zau. Valve is adding a new precaution after hackers modified some Steam games to contain malware. Though fewer than a hundred users had the games installed at the time, Valve will soon require SMS verification for all developers who wish to update their games.

GameDiscoverCo newsletter founder Simon Carless first reported the story on Twitter. Valve confirmed details in an email to PC Gamer. Valve wrote that all the affected Steam users were reached out to via email. Developer Benoît Freslon said on Twitter that his game, NanoWar: Cells VS Virus, was hit by the attack and that the malware stole his browser’s access tokens.
